Fayetteville and in the
2008 Art Walk.
Clovis has been president of the Fayetteville Chamber of
Commerce for 2006 and 2007. He is now spending more time

Heritage Museum is directly across the Town Square from us. This is a must-see. Unlike many small (and not-so-small) town museums, this museum is fun and exciting. It is filled with treasures that will astound and leave you in awe. How about the last Chevrolet sold at the Chevrolet dealership in Fayetteville? Yes, Fayetteville had a Chevrolet and a Ford dealership, too. The car is fully restored. |

The corner grocery
store is just to the north of us. This plaque is outside
the store, having been presented to Jerry and Shirley Chovanec
for their dedicated service to town of Fayetteville.
Baca Saloon is a couple of businesses down the street,
sandwiched between the Fayetteville Texas Rural Art Guild and
Fayetteville artist Pat Johnson. |

There are nice places to stay also in Fayetteville. One of our favorites is The Country Place Hotel, right on the Square in downtown Fayetteville. Not only do you get a great location and a great hotel, the breakfast is top quality food and nicely presented. |

The MS150 Bike Tour is an annual two-day cycling adventure from Houston to Austin that raises money to help people living with MS disease. Thousands ride through, and many choose Fayetteville to overnight before bicycling on to Austin the following day. |
